FIBA pushing for 3-on-3 basketball in 2020 Olympics

FIBA has really been making a push for 3 V 3 basketball in the Olympics and it may just happen at Tokyo in 2020.

Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today:

RIO DE JANEIRO — The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) is making another push to include 3-on-3 basketball in the Olympics, FIBA secretary-general Patrick Baumann told USA TODAY Sports.

Baumann said the International Olympic Committee will decide in June if 3-on-3 will be played at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Serbia have won their 2nd FIBA 3 on 3 title and if the NBA could enter a few of their premiere players, surely they’d rise to the occasion to dominate basketball on the world stage TWICE in a single Olympics!?

There are a lot of questions to be answered first, however. Such as, can players from 5 on 5 also play 3 on 3 or is it a different roster. How many players could they have on the bench? Will the ball be a smaller size?

These are all things we hopefully find out in June!

Who would you pick for your 3 on 3 roster?
